Each candle comes with a unique bespoke high gloss label to represent its scent; however during market research the consumer results were 50/50 on labels or no labels. Therefore each candle label goes half way so you can have the jazzy label on show or you can turn the candle around and have a neutral plain gloss jar; suiting both our consumers needs. - How To Burn Your Candle Safely:
Place your candle on a stable, flat and heat resistant surface. Light your candle away from any drafts such as open windows/doors or humidity which is unsafe and can also cause the candle to soot black smoke (1. this is dangerous and 2. It will go on your walls) or cause rapid and erratic burning.
Using your candle for the first time we recommend a burn time of 2-4 hours, this will support the candle to have a clean and even burn, eliminating any "tunneling" or wax build up. Let the candle's "memory" create a perfectly melted pool, enhancing its long-lasting scent and creating the ultimate sensory experience. However if you light the candle for less burn times this can cause tunneling of the wax pool which means you will not get the same desired effect and there will be candle wax left over.
After the first time using your candle; Scented Aromas recommends lighting for a maximum of 4 hours per session. If your candle is lit for longer than 4 hours this can result in the wicks to move position.
- How To Care For The Cotton Wick In Your Candle:
For safety, Scented Aromas recommends that approximately 10mm of candle wax is left in the bottom of your candle jar prior to disposal.
Keep the wax pool clean for a longer, cleaner burn. Straighten the wick to prevent high flames, smoking or sooting. Trim the wick to 5mm after each use for maximum fragrance. Indulge in an intergalactic aroma with every burn!
